Jakarta (ANTARA) – Wakil Ketua DPR RI Sufmi Dasco Ahmad mewakili seluruh anggota DPR RI menyampaikan permohonan maaf atas kekeliruan dan kekurangan para wakil rakyat selama menjalani tugas maupun fungsinya.

Dasco menegaskan bahwa aspirasi rakyat merupakan tanggung jawab bagi seluruh anggota DPR RI. Namun, dia memahami bahwa permintaan maaf saja tidak akan cukup.

"Permintaan maaf ini tidak cukup tanpa evaluasi dan perbaikan secara menyeluruh dan akan dilakukan dalam waktu yang sesingkat-singkatnya," kata Dasco saat audiensi dengan Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa (BEM) Seluruh Indonesia di kompleks parlemen, Jakarta, Rabu.

Untuk saat ini, dia pun telah berkoordinasi dengan seluruh pimpinan DPR dan akan melakukan beberapa hal sebagai evaluasi.

Pertama, Dasco mengatakan DPR akan melakukan evaluasi menyeluruh terhadap tunjangan anggota dewan dan khusus untuk tunjangan perumahan sudah dihentikan terhitung sejak tanggal 31 Agustus 2025.

Kedua, menurut dia, DPR melakukan moratorium untuk kunjungan kerja atau perjalanan dinas luar negeri anggota DPR, serta melakukan efisiensi-efisiensi untuk kunjungan kerja di dalam negeri.

Selain itu, Dasco juga menyampaikan duka cita yang sangat mendalam atas meninggalnya pengemudi ojek online, Affan Kurniawan, yang merupakan korban pada saat ada kericuhan aksi unjuk rasa.

"Dan seluruh korban kejadian aksi penyampaian berdapat yang terjadi beberapa waktu yang lalu," katanya.
